­­­­­­My interest in high mountains and specifically also in glaciers started long ago and after finalizing professional training in the Austrian alps with a mountain guide I immediately started a tour to the Himalaya region.

I had the chance to climb many mountains in the Austrian and Swiss alps, as to mention the Großglockner, Großvenediger, Dufourspitze.

Later I focused also on the mountains in the Anden region, for example the Aconcagua and the Huayna Potosi.

A special interest about volcanos resulted in the climb of the Popocatepetl (Mexico), the Mahameru (Indonesia, Java) and the Cava Ijen (Java), the Teide (Canary island), the Kilimandjaro (Tansania) and finally the highest volcano on earth, the Ojos del Salado in Chile.
